LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Former President Donald Trump will be making his second visit to the Las Vegas Valley ahead of the 2024 Election primaries.

He will be hosting a Caucus Night Watch Party on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Treasure Island on the Strip.

Nevada lawmakers have opted to move away from the presidential caucuses for the 2024 election — a move that the state GOP has opposed. As a result, the GOP has opted to host caucuses on Feb. 8 to allocate delegates.

Additionally, party candidates running in the primary are barred from running in the caucuses, forcing them to choose between the two events.

Donald Trump is competing in the caucuses, while Nikki Haley is opting to stay on the primary ballot.

Nevada’s state-run Democratic and Republican presidential primaries will be held Tuesday. Polls close at 7 p.m. local time, which is 10 p.m. ET.

The party-run GOP caucuses will be held two days later on Feb. 8. Caucus hours are 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. local time, which is 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET.
